Presents and cards!!🎄🎁

So Superman has been receiving Christmas cards. They only check the mail once a week. But yesterday he received a present from someone and it was a special gift. Thank you so much you know who you are. Superman loves it. I will post more pictures later with his gift when he is more awake. They had to up his seizure medications again and now all he wants to do is sleep. Thanks to everyone who has sent cards also thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. He is continuing to make progress.

💜Update on Superman 💜

So, Superman had his breathing tube removed today but it didn’t last too long they had to put it right back in because he wasn’t ready for it to come out. They took him off his rubinol which is for drooling. They put him back on it today. To help with all the secretions. They said they would try again in a couple days. We have been here since Halloween so that makes it twelve so far. I wish they figure something out. Especially what is causing the fevers. Still no explanation for them. They have done almost every test they can think of. They are calling him a mystery. I don’t know what to think about that. I wish they would figure something out and bring my Superman back to me. Please continue to pray and send positive thoughts. Thank you!

Update!

The Lombard puncture showed no sign of infection. Today the plan is to wean him down on the phenobarbital so he can start showing some brain function. Also his is going to have an MRI at some point today. Please keep the prayers coming because my Superman needs all the prayers he can get. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and positive thoughts.

My present from Dylan

At Dylan’s school they started this program to earn tickets for good behavior. So, Dylan earned tickets to go Christmas shopping and this is the gift he got me. This is the second year they have done this. It is awesome idea for the children. He got the queen part right. Haha just joking.

Bus training!

The bus is coming to the house tomorrow to train me on how to put Dylan on the bus. I don’t think I have a problem putting him on the bus. I have a problem with the bus aids who just stand there and do nothing. They should already be trained to handle special needs children since they are working on a bus that transports special needs children.

Friends

With the all the news about the autistic boy not having friends. I know that feeling all too well for my son Dylan. He doesn’t have friends and probably doesn’t even know what that means. The only friends he really needs is his family. He has that with his older brother and sister. I can absolutely say they both love him with all their hearts. He attends a special school with other children like him or worse off than him. I know some of the children that attend his school know what friendship is, but for most of the children, they can’t understand that concept. That doesn’t mean they don’t need friends too. I know his teachers love him also. The definition of friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations. With that being said, I’m not looking for anybody to feel sorry him, because I know he is one of the happiest people I know most of the time. He can have his bad days just like anybody can.
