Celebration of life for Dylan King our Superman!

So we finally got to have Dylan’s celebration of life because the restrictions have been lifted. It was a beautiful day even with the heat and humidity. Lots of food, family and fun. We all got talk about our favorite memories of you my sweet angel! One of the most favorite memories was how you use to say a certain bad word and they always said you used it appropriately. We all sure do miss you more then words can say. I would love to say a big thank you to everyone who showed up today. We also would like to thank everyone for the donations for the epilepsy awareness foundation. We received 105.00 dollars for it. A big thank to my nephews fiance for the beautiful picture she made for us.

Halloween!

Halloween was one of Dylan’s favorite holidays. So in his memory I made these pumpkins. Superman colors and purple for epilepsy.

Sunflower garden!

We go to the sunflower garden every year. This year Dylan was supposed to go with us since he got his ne wheelchair. But he passed away in April due SUDEP. He still made it to the sunflower garden today. Just not the way we thought. It turned out to a beautiful day!

My sunshine Dylan! I love you!

Dylan as Superman!

His older brother had this made for the shelf with his urn. I think they did an awesome job on it.

My beautiful blanket!

Back of the blanket!
The front of it!

Dylan’s big brother Dacota had this made for me. It is a beautiful gift and memory I will treasure always. I love it. I can’t believe tomorrow will be three months already. It seems like yesterday we said goodbye to our Superman. We love you Dylan and miss you so much.

Dylan’s garden!

Some pictures from Dylan’s garden!

We decided to plant a memorial garden for Dylan! We planted all kinds of flowers. Mostly the colors of Superman. We have a few purple flowers for epilepsy.

Have you ever met an Angel?
My family and I were blessed with not only meeting an Angel, but actually blessed with one who lived with us 17 years. This Angel, was our teacher, preacher, bestfriend and brother to his siblings. He was our son, our dream, our song! Have you ever met an Angel? Mine was loving, kind, caring, and pure! He taught us unconditional Love, patience, passion and sacrifice! He showed us strength and courage and taught us how to believe, dream, persevere and even to forgive! Whenever I looked into his eyes, I seen the Face of Almighty God. Through his pain and suffering, he never cried, complained, or gave up! He taught us what it means to fight courageously every day of life! He showed us how to be servants of Love and Compassion! We had to wash and dress him, feed him, protect him and Love him with all our entire being! Have you ever met an Angel? Mine was the light and the Love of God himself; a beacon of light and hope in a dark and scary world! He was our guide our light, our comforter! Have you ever met an Angel? Our Angel was given to us for an appointed time. He was sent to teach us that Love is the strongest force in the Universe! He showed us that anger, pride, hate and envy aren’t the answer, but love is! Love for your fellow human being. No matter what! Have you ever met an Angel? Mine was the greatest Love in my entire life, a love that I just can’t start to explain! My world is a lot darker and a lot emptier today because my Angel had to return to heaven. He went to help prepare a place for each and everyone of his loved ones! My Angel was loved by thousands and he touched the hearts and lives of so many people. My Angel was sent to us for us to care for and protect and to Love him. Now my Angel has went home to the Almighty and now he watches over and helps guide and protects us! Have you ever met an Angel? Mine was my son, my song my light!
Dylan King I Love you and I will miss you, but I know that we’ll see each other again. You’ll run up to me and you’ll help me to stand, you’ll help dress me for heaven. You’ll be the one to show me around whenever my time is over here! I Love you son and I am going to miss you!
