Superman is feeling better.

Dylan is feeling a little better today. He is still having seizures though. They are not as frequent as they were yesterday. Maybe they had something to do with the weather we are having today. I feel like the barometric pressure has some kind of an effect on his seizures. These past few days have been a little rough here with the car being out of commission and having to take Dylan to the hospital. We have been relying on friends and family for rides everywhere. We already had to cancel one of Dylan’s appointments. Our problem is not having the money to fix the vehicle. 20180907_101056.jpg

Hungry!!!

My Superman is always hungry you feed him his dinner and he will be hungry five minutes later. So, the kitty came to sit with him yesterday and I guess he thought the kitty was food.  He tried to grab the kitty and eat him.

Judging

So, I went to put Dylan on the bus this morning and he decided to lean back before I had full control of him and ‘ I said dammit Dylan why did you do that.’ so I had to pick him up out of the chair to fix him again. Mind you he is about 5’5 and weighs about 125 pounds that is my height as well not my weight though. All the while the bus helper is standing up on the bus shaking her head the whole time in judgment of me doing and saying anything to my son. I’m getting tired of her rude attitude towards me and how I deal with my son. I told her this morning if she thinks she can do a better job of it she can have a go at it. I called to complain about her also. I’m so glad the school year is over with and I hope she is not his bus aide ever again.  Just do the job you are hired to do and keep your judgments to yourself.

Dylan got a new friend!!!!!

So, we got a little kitty and he has become Dylan’s little buddy. His name is Dexter Morgan King after the show Dexter my daughter named him. Dylan seems to like him.

New haircut

Dylan finally got a haircut the other day. He did pretty well sitting still this time.

So Snap-chat had superman filter and Dylan had some fun with it. Now he is the real Superman!!!!!!!!!!!!

I.E.P Meeting

il_340x270.1276716707_2ezdIEP-628x303

Yesterday was Dylan’s IEP meeting and it was no fun for either of us. The meeting was supposed to start at 2 but, that didn’t happen because we had to wait for some of the attendees to show up. First of all, we didn’t even begin the IEP meeting, because they are still stuck on the fact that they think it would be best for Dylan to ride the bus in a wheelchair for his safety. My thoughts on that are NO WAY he is not riding the bus in a wheelchair because he is mobile. Dylan is not in a wheelchair at home so why would I want him transported to school in a wheelchair. They are claiming it is for safety measures for him and myself. I fell that they just don’t want to deal with Dylan because he can be a bit difficult at times. We can’t forget that Dylan is a fourteen-year-old boy going through puberty. So with that being said, In my opinion, he his just being a typical teenager. The one good thing that came out of the meeting was that Dylan will be reevaluated before the IEP meeting.

Aggravation!

This guy right here is hitting puberty and becoming a typical teenage boy by not wanting to do anything. The school is after me again to put him in a wheelchair because he will not walk off the bus. I told the lady on the phone that he was walking on the bus because, I will put him on the bus and they can use a wheelchair to get him off but, that is not good enough for them, they want to come out Monday to watch him get on the bus. I am sticking to what I said because I believe if he gets in a wheelchair he won’t want to do anything again. He needs to get up and move around so the wheelchair is a no go.
