Dylan is home from school today because he is not feeling to good today. He didn’t sleep to well last night either and he had few seizures I believe brought by lack of sleep. I think he has a sinus infection a lot of sneezing and a runny nose. His awards ceremony went well yesterday.He received a medal, a certificate, and a new pair of tennis shoes he also got a cute t- shirt.

 

Dylan was sitting in the living room yesterday after he got home from school. I forgot to move  the tissue box off the table. I walk into the living room to find tissues tore up all over the place. I couldn’t help but laugh at what he did because it was my fault for not moving them. He seemed to be happy with what he had done.

Dylan went back to school today. He was in a pretty good mood this morning.He had one seizure before he left for school today it wasn’t a bad one and he had a quick recovery. All smile awards he had to get up and get his little pillow he likes to play with.Dylan has an award ceremony today at school for the virtual marathon. He is one of twenty-seven students to complete the marathon. I wish I could be there with him. I hope he has a wonderful time.

Dylan is home from school today because he has been a little sleepy here lately. He was in a pretty good mood this morning. He seems to be recovering  from whatever was causing his tiredness.  He has been busy today pillows everywhere and let’s not forget his toys.Dylan has only had one seizure today, I hope it stays that way.He has been really vocal today making all kinds of different sounds. A lot of laughing as well.

Dylan was in a pretty good mood today. He was happy to get on the bus this morning. I hope he has a good at school. He had one seizure while I was giving him a bath, I’m glad it wasn’t a bad one. He got right back up and started making his happy noises, so I know he was okay. They changed his appointment for the VNS battery change.

My mom said she enjoyed spending time with Dylan yesterday, and it made her happy to see him smile. It always makes me happy to see him smile.Dylan slept most of the day, I guess had to recover from not sleeping well the other day.When he first woke up today my husband said he had a tonic- clonic seizure(which is a called a Grand Mal seizure). My superman has had all the different types of seizures at least one time. This is a list of the different types and what happens.

Generalized Seizures (Produced by the entire brain)	Symptoms
1. “Grand Mal” or Generalized tonic-clonic	Unconsciousness, convulsions, muscle rigidity
2. Absence	Brief loss of consciousness
3. Myoclonic	Sporadic (isolated), jerking movements
4. Clonic	Repetitive, jerking movements
5. Tonic	Muscle stiffness, rigidity
6. Atonic	Loss of muscle tone

Dylan was restless last night. He didn’t sleep good, so mom didn’t get much sleep either. He had a couple seizures last night. He is taking a nap right now. I hope he is not as hyper today because my mom is going to be watching him for awhile today. My husband picked him up from school yesterday after work because the nurse called and said he was having some new behavior issues. I really didn’t want to ride the bus.The sun is finally shining.Today is going to be a great day.

Terri KingThis is how Dylan was waiting for the bus this morning. Dylan did not want to get up this morning, I had to drag him out of  the bed today. He had a couple of seizures overnight. Dylan didn’t have any seizures this morning. He seemed to be in a pretty good mood this morning very vocal. I hope his day continues to be good.

Dylan was in a pretty good mood this morning. He had a couple of seizures overnight.So he didn’t want to get up this morning. He was being Mr. Lazy bones again today. The weather is still nice and cool here, so maybe that might have something to do with him not wanting get up.
