My mom said she enjoyed spending time with Dylan yesterday, and it made her happy to see him smile. It always makes me happy to see him smile.Dylan slept most of the day, I guess had to recover from not sleeping well the other day.When he first woke up today my husband said he had a tonic- clonic seizure(which is a called a Grand Mal seizure). My superman has had all the different types of seizures at least one time. This is a list of the different types and what happens.

Generalized Seizures (Produced by the entire brain)	Symptoms
1. “Grand Mal” or Generalized tonic-clonic	Unconsciousness, convulsions, muscle rigidity
2. Absence	Brief loss of consciousness
3. Myoclonic	Sporadic (isolated), jerking movements
4. Clonic	Repetitive, jerking movements
5. Tonic	Muscle stiffness, rigidity
6. Atonic	Loss of muscle tone

Dylan was restless last night. He didn’t sleep good, so mom didn’t get much sleep either. He had a couple seizures last night. He is taking a nap right now. I hope he is not as hyper today because my mom is going to be watching him for awhile today. My husband picked him up from school yesterday after work because the nurse called and said he was having some new behavior issues. I really didn’t want to ride the bus.The sun is finally shining.Today is going to be a great day.

Terri KingThis is how Dylan was waiting for the bus this morning. Dylan did not want to get up this morning, I had to drag him out of  the bed today. He had a couple of seizures overnight. Dylan didn’t have any seizures this morning. He seemed to be in a pretty good mood this morning very vocal. I hope his day continues to be good.

Dylan was in a pretty good mood this morning. He had a couple of seizures overnight.So he didn’t want to get up this morning. He was being Mr. Lazy bones again today. The weather is still nice and cool here, so maybe that might have something to do with him not wanting get up.

This is how Dylan waits for his bus to come. It is another cool day here. One seizure overnight. None so far this morning yeah.Today is one the first days he didn’t give me hard time brushing his teeth. I trimmed his fingernails and toenails today. He doesn’t like that too much, I don’t like it either because, I’m scared I will cut him if moves the wrong way.

Dylan with the graduate yesterday. He was not feeling it today he didn’t want to get up this morning he was Mr. lazy bones. So his regular bus helper wasn’t here today, the bus driver ask me to help put Dylan on the bus so I did. I hope when he gets to school today he is more awake. It must be the weather making him feel sleepy. He had a couple seizures overnight so it could be that too.

No school for Dylan because, It is his big sisters graduation today. He didn’t want to go to sleep last night he thought it was playtime. Yesterday we could not find the remote we searched for it everywhere.We finally found it on Dylan’s toybox. Dylan had hidden it from us when we ask him about it, he began to smile. Not any seizures through the night and none so far today. I hope it stays that way.
