Dylan was in a pretty good mood today. He had a couple of seizures overnight. He was being silly when I put him on the bus this morning because he didn’t want to walk up the steps. He was standing there with a grin on face, he was like mom I’m not doing this right now.I had to change him before the bus got here today because he decided to lay down and peed through his clothes and got them all wet. So luckily my older son helped me change him real quick before the bus got here.We had to pick him up from school today because the swing doesn’t agree with him anymore.He got sick all over himself.

Dylan was up early today. He had a few seizures overnight. He got a bath this morning and of course he had a seizure when I was getting him out the tub. I’m glad it wasn’t a bad one because I would have had a hard time controlling him.He always falls asleep waiting for the bus. Then I have to wake him up and that takes some time to get him up. So there will be a line of cars behind the bus and some the people will get mad and turn around. I will be glad when summer school is over so we can sleep in.

The doctor said the battery needs to be changed on his VNS. The surgery is scheduled for August fifth.We have to be there early in the morning. I hate when he has surgery because he has problems with the anesthesia. The last time was when he had dental work done and we ended staying overnight because he didn’t wake up right away.

By Terri KingThe first week of summer school is over only three more weeks to go, Dylan is chilling now. He can’t wait to get home and take his shoes off. Dylan does not like wearing shoes at all.Tomorrow is the consult appointment to get the battery changed in his VNS. Dylan was a little shaky when my husband got him off the bus today they said he had a pretty bad seizure before he got on the bus to come home.

Dylan has been in summer school for three days now. He has already does not want to get up in the morning.Yesterday, when he got home it was non-stop seizures and shaking. I think it’s the weather because it has been real humid here. He likes going to school because he seems happy when he gets home. Especially when knows he has strawberry milk waiting for him. I hope today is a better day for him.

Today was the first day of summer school. Dylan was up at six thirty playing with his toys. I gave him a bath and we went downstairs so he could get his meds. He was eating his breakfast sandwich he tried to eat the napkin too I guess he was starving. By the time, the bus got here he was asleep on the floor. The bus was supposed to be here at nine thirty but did not get here until nine fifty.He said he got tired of waiting for it and took a nap.
